SCUBA DIVING
Visiting the Andaman is never complete without scuba diving. With the
cleanest waters you would ever possibly get to see in India, it has one
of the best coral and marine life that shouldn't be missed.
BEACH & TEMPLE RUN
Visit the Radhanagar beach in Havelock Island, voted Asia’s best beach
this year, ahead of Thailand, Bali and Malaysia. It’s like walking
right into a postcard - you can wade into the clean, calm water and feel
your feet sink into the sand bed. There are also secret temples which
you can visit. Overall, the beach is simply fabulous, but beware of
snakes!
SEAFOOD CUISINE
They have the juiciest prawns and the fanciest variety of seafood
available here. Exotic fish, lobsters and mussels are among the several
delicacies up for grabs at almost all restaurants on the island.
Bengalureans are deprived of fresh catch due to the lack of water
bodies, so stuffing your face with seafood is something strongly
recommended.
WATER SPORTS
Jet ski rides and diving are activities that you shouldn’t miss. My
experience on the water scooter was crazy. I did exactly what Aamir Khan
& Co did in Dil Chahta Hai - jump off the jet ski midway through
the ride! I can strike that off my checklist now. Activities such as the
wreck dive, night dive and deep sea dive are my other recommendations.
