Glochem Industries Limited (GIL) is a Public Limited Company promoted by First generation Technocrat Entrepreneurs. The business of the Company is Manufacturing and Marketing of Bulk Drugs, Drug Intermediates, Fine Chemicals and other Speciality Chemicals. The Company was incorporated on 20th November 1995 and started its commercial operations from 27th November 1995.

Company’s operations:

1996 Started as a Trading Company – trading in Chemicals & Intermediates.
1997 & 98 Extended the activity to the manufacturing operations, in a leased Unit.
1999 Acquired an existing Bulk Drugs Unit.
2000 onwards Carrying on the business of manufacturing and trading in Fine Chemicals (Drugs & Intermediates) - major focus being given to manufacturing.

- Applied to EDQM for COS for Amlodipine Besilate
- Upgraded manufacturing facilities to comply to GMP
- Focus into speciality Chemical with application in OPC/OLED Industry

- WHO Certification received for the production facilities
- COS awaited for Amlodipine Besilate
- COS being filed for the other APIs being manufactured by the company.

The business segments/operational divisions of the Company are:

Manufacturing of APIs - Drug Intermediates Customs Synthesis Contract Manufacturing for larger Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Companies. Mr. K. Subbarao is the chief Promoter & Managing Director of the company. He is managing the overall operations of the Company as the Managing Director .
