Hyderabadi youth invited to speak at Alternative Nobel Prize function in Germany.
Hyderabad|India|September2010: Hyderabad student and Founder of Passionate Foundation,
Chaitanya M.R.S.K. has been invited to speak at the International Youth Conference
of the Right Livelihood Foundation and the Youth Future Project on the occasion
of the 30th anniversary of the Right Livelihood Awards, also known as “Alternative
Nobel Prize”.He would be speaking on the 15th of September on “Role of young leaders
in Social Transformation”, He is leaving for Germany shortly. He is one of 9 young
leaders from India and 120 participants from all over the world who have good track
of community service and leadership.
All the chosen young people are working to bring change in their own communities.
We are financing our own trip. They chose us as we have been associated with International
Youth Organisations informed Chaitanya. The Conference would be taking place at
Bonn, Germany from 14–19 September, 2010.The aim of the conference is to bring international
youth together in order to discuss important issues and problems of the future.
120 young people from across the world will meet, discuss, exchange ideas and bring
in suggestions for future action plans.
The meeting is a unique opportunity for young people to meet with the laureates
of the Right Livelihood Award, to exchange ideas, discuss solutions and to inspire
new youth initiatives. The Conference draws great importance at a global scenario
as this year has been declared as the International Year of Youth by the United
Nations. Chaitanya would be joined by D. heeraja.
Director of Passionate Foundation, who would attend the conference too. Chaitanya
byu the age of 14 years old became a young achiever. While studying at a Abhyasa
Residential Public School won an U.N. Award for Excellence in Community Service
at United Nations Youth Assembly - 2007 at New York. He is a youth to reckon for
service activities in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
He founded together with other youth an NGO for youth--Passionate Foundation. Passionate
in the span of two years has orgaized several activities such the first ever Youth
Assembly of Hyderabad, for twice. Passionate has recently published a Book “In Pursuit
of Passion” featuring 50 Icons of change and inspiration from Andhra Pradesh.
