Meka Srikanth (born March 23, 1968) is an Native indian actor in Telugu Cinema. He has received two Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards.
Personal life
Srikanth was born in Gangavathi Dist. Koppal, Karnataka. He did B.Com in Karnataka University, Dharwad, Karnataka, Indian and got a diploma from the movie institution. Srikanth is wedded to Ooha and has two kids, Roshan who is the eldest and Rohan who is the eldest and has a little girl, Medha. He performed minor roles in many movies before enjoying a hero. His first hit movie as a hero was Pelli Sandadi which was directed by popular director K.Raghavendra Rao. Along with S.V Krishna Reddy he provided excellent hit movies like Vinodam and Egire Pavurama. His hit movies are Khadgam, Shankar Dada M.B.B.S, Pellam Orelithe, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Oo Chinadana. He currently lives in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
Film career
Srikanth essayed minimal roles as villain and supporting artiste in his previously profession. He is appeared in more than 100 Telugu movies. His first hit movie as a lead actor, was Taj Mahal which was produced by D. Ramanaidu.
Later, Srikanth worked with ace movie directors like S.V. Krishna Reddy, Krishna Vamsi, Jayanth C. Paranjee, G. Neelakanta Reddy, EVV Satyanarayana and K. Viswanath to give hits like Vinodam, Egirey Pavurama, Ahvaanam, "Maa nannaku Pelli", Khadgam, Sankar Dada M.B.B.S., Pellam vurelithe, Yemandoi Srivaru, Kshemanga Velli Labhanga Randi, Oh Chinadana, Shankar Dada Zindabad, Swarabhishekam, Function Duryodhana, Mahatma and Virodhi. He is now working for a socio-fantasy movie Devaraya
