This splendid building, which stands amidst spacious green lawns in the Public Gardens, derives its name from the silver jubilee celebrations in 1937 to commemorate Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan’s coronation. At this site was the simple Durbar Hall of the sixth and seventh Nizams. Built in 1894, it was dismantled in 1937 to make way for this impressive Jubilee hall. This hall is now used as a conference hail with facilities for seminars, conferences or even an evening of classical music. in the courtyard,a small historic pavilion reminds us of the late Nizam, who held Durbars here and received cash offerings from his people.
The Jubilee Hall has an elegant facade built in the indo-Persian style.
The main hall is classically Islamic in architecture and embellishments, and glitters with lovely chandeliers.
