Shaikh Muhammad, alias lbne-Khatoon,was one of the ministers of Qutb Shah VI. He was an Ambassador and during 1615 he was sent with valuable presents to Shah Abbas of Persia. He returned from Persia after the death of Sultan Muhammad. During 1628 he was promoted to the rank of Peshwa and allowed to sit by the side of the Royal throne. He died in Mocha while on his way to Mecca. Being a distinguished personality, in all probability his remains were brought to Hyderabad. His grave is near Purani Haveli close to the Zanani gate
