Syed Shah Razuddin alias Shah Raju was a nephew of Hussain Shah Wali. During the reign of Sultan Abdullah he came from Bijapur. Abul Hasan Tana Shah was his devoted disciple and through the spiritual provisions of Shah Raju he became the son-in-law of the king and then ascended the throne. He had great influence in Golconda society.
Shah Raju died in 1684 during the reign of Abul Hasan lana Shah
who built a splendid dome over his grave. The golden spire above the dome was fixed by Tahniathunisa Begum (mother of AsafJah 11).
