The Doctor's Day is celebrated on July 1 all across Indian to honor the famous doctor and the second CM of Western Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. He was born on July 1, 1882 and passed away on the same time time in 1962,aged 80 years. Dr Roy was honored with the country's highest civilian, Bharat Ratna on Feb 4, 1961.
