Early Life
Mohammed Majid Hussain is a politician and the present Mayor of Greater Hyderabad
Municipal Corporation.He belongs to All India Majlis-e Ittihad al-Muslimin party.
ohammed Majid Hussain was born in Hyderabad to M H Maqsood, a retired Physical Director
and Qaisar Jahan, a retired Government School head mistress. He studied at St. Theresa
School, Humayungar, Intermediate at Sultan Uloom, Banjaras Hills and BCA at Anwar
Uloom college.
Career
Mohammed Majid Hussain worked with HSBC in several Banking and Cards related processes
for the Bank. He Joined MIM and became a corporator from Ahmed Nagar division in
2009 municipal corporation elections. He became the Mayor of Hyderabad on 3 January
2012
Personal life
Mohammed Majid Hussain is married to Syeda Juvaria Azmath and they have a daughter,
Ayesha Haala (b. 2010). He has one elder brother Mohammed Shakir Hussain who lives
in Chicago and works for the Insurance Giant, Allstate Insurance.
